Created while I was Director of Marketing for The Bureau of Small Projects, on behalf of Yello Zello.
Opportunity analysis, naming and launch plan
Science-backed supplements for kidsYello Zello.
Built from a blank page, starting with one question: where is the real opening in wellness?
The real problem
Yello Zello started as a blank page. No product, no name, no audience. Just a big, crowded wellness market and the question of where a new brand could actually win.
What I noticed
I ran it through my Magic 8 Ball, my own opportunity analysis for finding exactly where a product can win. The answer pointed to young people: a generation that cares about wellness and has almost nothing made for it.
The call I made
Build for young people, and build on science, not sugar. Everything else, from the name to the positioning, followed from that one decision.
What I built
The concept, the name, the positioning and a full Brand Launch Toolkit covering audience, channels, content and launch. The product: sugar-free, science-backed supplements for youth development, sold direct to consumers on Shopify.
The lesson
Before you name it, find out where it can win.
